Sheila Linville is the Founder and Executive Director of the Andrews Educational Institute. She has more than thirty years of experience in Montessori education including twenty-eight years as Co-Founder and Executive Director of Lake Mary Montessori Academy in Lake Mary, Florida. Sheila currently works as the Director of Accreditation for the International Montessori Council, as an Instructional Guide for the Center for Guided Montessori Studies, and as a Consultant for The Montessori Foundation. Sheila earned her B.S. in Communications with a Minor in Development/Fundraising from Centenary College, her M.A.T. in Elementary Education from Rollins College, and her Montessori certifications from the American Montessori Society. Sheila Linville is a published author in Tomorrow’s Child with pieces focusing on speaking to children in a manner they can understand and classroom approaches to grief. Additionally, Sheila is a 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Stephen Covey Leadership trainer. Sheila and Scott have both been participants for several years with The Erdmann Institute, a prestigious think tank for Independent School Enrollment Leadership. The National Center for Montessori Public Schools has provided Sheila with training on child observation, child study, and assessment practices in the Montessori classroom through the expertise found in The Montessori Assessment Playbook. Most importantly, Sheila is a Montessori parent to Mitchell, age 21, and Aidan, age 15.
